Andy’s Big Heart is a non-profit organization founded in 2023 in memory of Andy, a compassionate individual who dedicated his life to helping others. Inspired by Andy’s own journey of overcoming mental health challenges and his desire to ensure that no one struggles alone, we seek to provide crucial support to individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

Our mission is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves help and hope, regardless of their circumstances. We serve a critical need, as over 28.8 million Americans will experience an eating disorder at some point in their lives—one of the deadliest mental illnesses, affecting people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities. Access to proper diagnosis and treatment can be difficult and costly, leaving many without the care they need.

Through the generosity of donors and partnerships, Andy’s Big Heart aims to honor Andy’s legacy by offering not only financial support, but also emotional and communal support for those on the path to recovery. The charity continues Andy’s mission to ensure that no one struggles alone, making a meaningful difference in real lives.

Andy’s Big Heart represents compassion and hope, reminding individuals that help is always available and that recovery is possible, even in the most challenging of times.

In our first full year of operations, thanks to our generous donors and partnerships, we were able to provide support to those in need by:

  • Covering the costs of evaluation and diagnosis for individuals requiring care

  • Offsetting the costs of in-patient treatment for individuals receiving care

  • Providing essential supplies to those receiving in-patient care

  • Providing holiday gifts for those receiving in-patient care away from their families

In 2025 and beyond, we are striving to expand our reach and impact. Not only by helping more people, but by adding new service offerings, such as:

  • Offsetting travel expenses for those entering or with family members in distant in-patient care

  • Establishing support groups for those suffering with eating disorders family and friends affected by those with eating disorders.
